Day against bullying
Students from Ettalong Public School joined more than 25,000 students across NSW on Friday, March 15, in a united stand against bullying.
This year's National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence had the theme, Take a Stand Together - Bullying No Way, to emphasise how critical it was that all students, teachers, parents and community members worked in unison to prevent bullying.
"Many thanks to everyone who supported our efforts to mark the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence," said Ettalong principal Mr Colin Wallis.
"Bullying and violence at school or anywhere is not okay at any time and will be dealt with swiftly.
"Let's Take a Stand Together and say no way every time.
"We want upstanders, not bystanders," said Mr Wallis.
