Help sought with house fire
Police have appealed for information from the community after a suspicious fire at a home in Hood St, Booker Bay on Wednesday, November 2.
Investigators said they believed the blaze was suspicious and have been told there were people in the area acting suspiciously before the fire started.
Officers would like to speak to anyone with information about two people seen near the Rip Bridge around midnight.
It is believed that a vehicle, which was possibly a blue Ford Telstar, was also seen in the area, prior to the fire.
Anyone with information about suspicious activity in the area on the night is urged to contact Gosford Police on 4323 5425 or Crime Stoppers on 1 800 333 000.
All information provided will be treated in confidence.
Brisbane Water Local Area Command officers continue with their inquiries into the incident and will prepare a report for the Coroner.
