Bulls Hill guard rail to be replaced
Roadworks will be carried out along Woy Woy Rd, Horsfield Bay, to replace a section of damaged guardrail.
The work is expected to be completed by mid-December.
The work site stretches from the intersection with Horsfield Rd down Bulls Hill for about 500 metres.
The roadwork commenced on Tuesday, November 8, and is organised to reduce disruptions during peak hours of 7am to 9am and 2.30pm to 5pm, with consideration also given to the bus timetable for the area.
Delays are expected between 9am and 2.30pm and, where possible, residents may wish to avoid travel during these hours.
The works involve the removal and replacement of damaged guardrail including the installation of rock bolt anchors, with other rock bolting being carried out in nearby areas, according to Gosford Council project officer Mr Chris Drinan.
Temporary traffic control measures, warning signs and a reduced speed limit will be in place while these works are undertaken to ensure the safety of workers and the community.
Traffic controllers will be on-site and temporary traffic lights may be operated during construction operations to direct traffic safely through the worksite.
