New local bands promoted

Woy Woy Leagues Club is holding a "Rock Band Competition" during October to help promote local talent.

Every Friday night, the club is featuring a new "undiscovered band", which will have 30 minutes to show its talents performing both original songs and "covers".

The bands are McJesus (October 5), Hershaber (October 12), Amobea (October 19) and Kompunktion (October 26).

The major prize will be two paid gigs at Woy Woy Leagues Club valued at $1000 as well as the exposure and the chance to secure more gigs around the Central Coast.
