Duo at folk club

The Troubadour Folk Club will see duo Craig Dawson and Simone Olding perform at Woy Woy CWA Hall on Friday, October 12, at 8pm.

Craig and Simone combine their diverse musical backgrounds to create a blend of original songs and instrumentals as well as interpretations of some traditional material.

Their music covers a range of folk music styles from ragtime to contemporary.

Songs which explore a variety of topics, both serious and funny, are included in their repertoire.

Simone is an experienced vocalist and plays a variety of intruments including mandolin, bouzouki, flute, recorder, clarinet and Bodhran.

Craig is a multi-award winning songwriter, music teacher and acoustic musician who has performed in bands and as a soloist regularly since 1984.

All are welcome and there is a $7 cover charge which includes supper.

Floor spots are always available for acoustic musicians, poets and story-tellers.

All enquiries are welcome.
