Calligraphy lessons complement Japanese art unit
A Year 4 class at St John the Baptist Catholic Primary has had Japanese calligraphy lessons to complement their Japanese art unit.
Students learnt different ways to write, the importance of sitting up straight, with great posture, and a calm mind, thanks to a visit from the parent of one of the students.
With her guidance, they produced some very impressive work.
The school has asked parent with "a hidden talent aligned to your child's learning" to contact their classroom teacher to discuss it.
