Carols across the bay
Killcare resident Norm Holloway has organised musicians from the Gosford City Brass Band and the Brisbane Waters Brass Band to get together and play "Carols across the Bay" during December.
Skipper and owner of the boat "Investigator 419" Bill McClean has offered to take on board at least eight musicians to entertain tourists and residents at Hardys Bay, Pretty Beach, Wagstaff and Daleys Point Peridon Village Wharf.
The group will play on Friday, December 22, and Saturday, December 23.
Mr Holloway has been organising the performances for the past six years.
"It's like playing in a cathedral" Mr Holloway said of the surrounding mountains as a back drop.
"The sound just carries right across the Bay."
The idea originally came from Les Sparks of Killcare Marina about six years ago as a way of collecting donations for Rotary, Mr Holloway said.
