Lloyd expresses sadness

Member for Robertson Mr Jim Lloyd has expressed his sadness at the passing of Belinda Emmett.

"On behalf of all residents, I express our deepest sympathy to Belinda's husband Rove McManus and to her family and friends," Mr Lloyd said.

"Belinda grew up on the Central Coast in Umina and has been a wonderful role model to many young Peninsula residents.

"I know she supported many organisations, particularly youth, and was a proud Patron of Youth on the Peninsula.

"The strength and dignity which she had shown over the past eight years during her battle with breast cancer has been an inspiration to all Australians.

"Belinda will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of meeting her."
