Decision deferred

Gosford Council's traffic committee has deferred making a decision on two pedestrian crossings in Booker Bay Rd, near the general store and ambulance station.

Council originally recommended that a pedestrian survey be undertaken in the area at its meeting of May 24.

The matter will now be deferred for a further investigation of the two sites with a report to be brought back to the next traffic committee meeting.

The request for the pedestrian crossings in the area of the general store and ambulance station came from the Ettalong Beach Tourist Resort and petitioners.
