Auxiliary operates hospital kiosk

The Woy Woy Hospital Auxiliary has taken over the operation of the hospital kiosk, and is seeking more volunteers to help.

"We'd love it if more people came to help," said Ms Marie Jackman.

"You don't need any special training.

"If you can make sandwiches, you can help us out."

Most volunteers work one day every four weeks, from 9:30am until 2pm.

There are three rostered volunteers working every day, making the sandwiches the kiosk sells.

The kiosk supplies food for hospital staff and guests, with all the profits being donated back to the hospital.

It also sells newspapers, magazines and hand-made gifts.
