Innovative fundraiser at Pearl Beach

The Pearl Beach Progress Association continues to think of innovative ways to raise funds, with its traditional fundraising activities hampered by coronavirus restrictions.

This time the association is planning a Price is Right game.

"It will be run as an online fundraiser to help raise the money that the Progress Association needs and have a bit of fun in the process," said organiser Ms Alison Phillips.

"However, as usual, we need help to get this off the ground."

The association is seeking donations "to create a large box of luxury, indulgent items that will be the ultimate prize".

Suggested donations include "premium spirit, champagne, luxury gifts, pamper vouchers, perfume or aftershave, jewellery, vintage wine, luxury accessories, spa hamper".

"All donations must be new and have an exact recommended retail price - no guesses please and must be to the cent.

"This game will not be able to take place without enough suitably desirable items as the ultimate winning prize."

Donations and queries should be made to Alison Phillips, who may be contacted by email at alisonphillips@hotmail.co.uk or by phone on 0487 444 537.
