Council says health not its problem
Gosford Council has advised that McDonalds is to be foisted upon us in Ocean Beach Rd, Umina, despite 2000 signatures against.
Obesity is a massive health problem in modern society, yet Gosford Council says health is beyond the boundary of local government.
Pardon?
A Blue Mountains community opposed a McDonalds and their Council supported them.
Whose side is ours on?
Umina has a unique village atmosphere and this monstrosity will destroy it with garbage, an unsightly building, all day trading and increased traffic.
There is a McDonalds up the road in Woy Woy.
This decision is a disgrace and should be stopped immediately.
