Time capsule to be buried

Woy Woy Public School will bury a time capsule to celebrate the school's centenary on its current site.

Each class will prepare a class package for the capsule which will have a contribution from each child.

Examples of the school uniform and samples of 2012 workings of the school will also be placed in the capsule.

Community members are also invited to contribute, as are past students, staff, members of the P and C and special guests.

The capsule will be gas sealed and buried for the next 50 to 100 years, following the school's commemorative event to be held on Friday, November 23.

A special stone marking the spot of the capsule will be laid above it in the School's commemorative garden.
