Brett seeks votes

Ocean Beach clubbie Brett Riley has been selected as a finalist in the Clubbie of the Year competition and is seeking votes in support.

He is raising money for Ocean Beach Surf Lifesaving Club in the process.

"I have what it takes to be the Clubbie of the Year because I have a passion for Surf Life saving," said Brett.

"I try to be involved in surf life saving as much as I can.

"For example this year I worked at Surf Lifesaving head office for work experience."

He said the best thing about being a clubbie was "being able to contribute to the community in an enjoyable and positive way".

"Being a clubbie is a great way to have fun with your friends, improve your fitness and gain lifesaving skills through awards such as the bronze medallion," he said.
