The good old days
Today we have incredible technology, roomy mansions with all the mod cons, air conditioning, TVs, computers and swimming pools.
On the down side, we have gridlock, lack of services, over-population, drugs, crime and violence.
Back in the golden age, the late 40s and 50s, we had wide open spaces, wild food, few automobiles, safe houses and streets.
No one tried to bash, rob, poison or blow us in to smithereens.
We also had the security of full employment.
Now you know why they called them "the good old days".
