Newsletter survey
Umina Public School has conducted a survey to assess the use by and effectiveness of its weekly newsletter to parents and guardians.
School principal Mr Chris Andrews said the survey results would form the basis of an update to future newsletters.
Mr Andrews said 151 families returned the newsletter survey.
"It was most gratifying to receive the great number of positive returns that were most supportive of what is currently happening."
According to the survey, 97 per cent of parents and guardians read the school newsletter each week while 99 per cent believe the newsletter provides useful and current information.
The survey also revealed that 48 per cent of parents and guardians considered the school newsletter "very useful", 48 per cent "useful" and only two per cent found "limited use".
