Association offers scholarship
The St Hubert's Island Residents Association has established a scholarship program to reward high achieving residents in their chosen endeavour.
Association president Mr Ron Spratt said the group was looking for local residents of St Hubert's Island looking to extend their passion and interest in education, music, the arts and sport.
"The association committee recently resolved to establish the St Hubert's Island Residents Association Scholarship to reward high achieving residents of St Huberts Island, including family members, in their chosen endeavour, be it education, music, the arts, sport or any other field considered appropriate by the St Huberts Island Residents Association executive committee," Mr Spratt said.
"The scholarship can be awarded only once annually, at the absolute discretion of the association committee, to the value of $250.
"Interested residents may now apply for the inaugural St Huberts Island Residents Association Scholarship.
"Applications must be in writing and be accompanied by relevant documentation to establish the credibility of the activity applied for, and an agreement to provide a written report and presentation on the success of the activity."
