Fountain to be turned on
Gosford Council will turn on the Anderson Park fountain after years of disuse due to water restrictions.
Council's director of city services Mr Stephen Glen said council was currently arranging for an inspection of the fountain in Brickwharf Rd, Woy Woy, and will overhaul its hydraulics to ensure that it is fully operational.
He said council was also applying for a water banking permit to allow the ballast tank to be filled from town water.
"The fountain will be turned on once the overhaul is completed and the water banking permit has been granted," Mr Glen said.
The issue was brought to the attention of council officers in a question without notice from Cr Terri Latella on January 27, this year.
