School has morning tea

Woy Woy Public School will participate in the Cancer Council's Biggest Morning Tea fundraising event on May 28.

Students and staff from the school will join in the fight against cancer by collecting donations, holding raffles and providing a "scrumptious" morning tea.

"Having recently been touched by cancer, as I am sure many of you can unfortunately relate, we have decided to host a morning tea to contribute to this worthwhile cause," event coordinator Ms Lina Williamson said.

"The morning tea will run from 10am until noon.

"As well as donations collected while enjoying a scrumptious morning tea we have prizes galore to give away.

"There will also be a raffle, with prizes such as hampers, vouchers for meat, fruit and veg, hair and beauty and much, much more."
