Sustainable living day
The Peninsula Environment Group will hold a Sustainable Living Day at the Woy Woy Environment Centre on Saturday, October 25.
The event will feature a full day of talks and workshops about sustainable living including no-dig gardening, natural cleaning and body care, keeping chickens, worm farming, bicycle repairs and making your home more energy efficient.
Talks and workshops will run from 9am to 5pm and entry is by gold coin donation.
Food, children's entertainment and information on local environmental activities and initiatives will be provided on the day.
Publicity officer Ms Zainem Ibrahim said the event was a great chance to meet other local people interested in the environment.
