Unremarkable rainfall

Rainfall for the month to date is unremarkable, according to figures supplied by Woy Woy resident Mr Jim Morrison.

Just 18.1mm fell in the first 10 days of the month, compared to a monthly average of 77mm.

Another 58.9mm is needed in the remainder of the month to bring the rainfall to its monthly average.

Rainfall for the year-to-date was above average at 1041mm at the end of September, compared to an average of 980.5mm.

The year-to-date figure last Friday was 1059mm, just one millimetre more than the year-to-date average at the end of October.

If no more rain falls this month, the Peninsula's rainfall at the end of the month would be right on average.
