Spelling and writing results
Students from Woy Woy South Public School achieved "outstanding results" when they participated in the NSW International Spelling and Writing Competition recently, according to principal Mr Mick Tattam.
In the spelling competition, Helen Krucler and Leslie Gagau from Year 6 and Lauren Hayes from Year 5 were awarded distinction certificates for their efforts.
Other students achieved six credits and 10 participation certificates for their efforts.
In the writing competition, Luke Reilly from Year 6 and Lauren Hayes from Year 5 were awarded with distinction certificates.
Other students gained eight credits and nine participation certificates for their writing.
