Not so sweet
Myna birds are not a sweet singing bird (Peninsula News 196).
It was a similar attitude to rats that spread the Black Plague in early years.
Ignorance of the danger of both is the problem.
My earlier letter was to try and warn of the danger to our native animals and children.
I saw the Myna bird attack a peewee nest and kill the babies and I saw the welts on the children at the school that had to be closed to eradicate the birds at a huge cost.
Please be warned.
