Burnt in my brain

Now that the supermarket Aldi is taking over Point Clare, perhaps they should reconsider naming that village Point Aldi or Aldi Town.

When you think about it, names have a persistent and even magical effect.

I remember as a child travelling with my family on the train.

When we stopped at Woy Woy, the large station leapt out at me and burnt in my brain.

Many years later, I was told I either had to get married or live in Woy Woy.

I did both.
