Students in touch carnival

Two students from Ettalong Public School have been selected to compete in the Metropolitan North Touch Football state carnival next month.

School principal Mr Colin Wallis congratulated Leearni Hemmings and Jonny Canterbury on their selection.

"Our school has had six students reach this state level in a range of sports so far this year," Mr Wallis said.

"This is an amazing result and exemplifies the great sporting talents of our students as well as the total commitment and dedication of our staff who make this all possible.

"Many of our staff members donate much of their own time to encourage individuals and train and manage our school teams to foster and discover this talent."
