Bus suffers fault
The new Scenic Horizon Tour coach, reported on in the last edition of Peninsula News, recently suffered an electrical fault which damaged the bathroom.
No one was injured, but passengers were evacuated at West Gosford when the hand dryer in the on board toilet caught fire, damaging one wall.
"The bus was immediately sent back to Brisbane for repairs," said part owner and operator Ms Kerry Eddy.
"There was only minor damage, and we'll be flying to Brisbane to drive it back when it's repaired.
"It's a bit of bad luck, but it will soon be back and fully operational," Ms Eddy said.
Scenic Horizon Tours operate day tours and short break tours for senior groups.
