Final exhibition of Phegans Bay plan expected shortly
The Bays Community Group is expecting the Phegans Bay Waterfront Masterplan to be exhibited again shortly before its final adoption by Central Coast Council.
"Once developed, the masterplan will outline the overall vision for the Phegans Bay waterfront precinct and provide a conceptual layout to guide future projects and infrastructure," the group has told residents in its newsletter.
"The masterplan will then be incorporated into the Hawkesbury-Nepean River System Coastal Management Plan which is currently being developed.
"Inclusion of the masterplan within the Coastal Management Plan will provide opportunities for funding through the NSW Coastal and Estuary grants program and consideration for capital funding via Council budgets."
The first draft of the masterplan was exhibited over the December and January period and received more than 150 comments.
The draft currently being reviewed in the light of the comments.
