Little Theatre to stage comedy
The Woy Woy Little Theatre will stage Ken Ludwig's comedy Moon Over Buffalo from Friday, May 17, with 10 performances over three weekends.
Directed by Jan Grounds, the cast includes Mark Austin as George Hay, Yvonne Berry-Porter Larimore as Charlotte Hay, Kassandra Brown as Rosalind and Darienne Knight as Ethel.
Jake Cain-Roser plays Howard, Samara Dawson is Eileen, Ryan Bates plays Paul and Scott Larimore plays Richard.
The story centres on George and Charlotte Hay, fading stars of the 1950s.
They're playing Private Lives and Cyrano De Bergerac in Buffalo, New York, with five actors. Down on their luck doesn't begin to describe it.
But the great movie director Frank Capra is coming to town to see their matinee, and if he likes what he sees, he just might cast them in his movie remake of The Scarlet Pimpernel. Naked ambition takes over as George and Charlotte do everything in their power to make Capra love them.
