Awards for baking
Two Umina Beach pastry cooks have won five awards at the Port Macquarie Baking Show.
Under the Pie and Pastry Section, Carolyne Barber from the Bremen Patisserie came third in the Two Meat Pies section.
Ron Bruns from the Patisserie came first in the Two Gourmet Pies section, with Carolyne coming third in the same section.
Ron came first in the Two Palmiers (French Pastries Decoarated) section.
Carolyne also came second in the Novelty Bread section.
Novelty bread was judged on appearance and craftsmanship.
