Council announces second year of 'stable' finances

It has reported a surplus budget for end of financial year 2023, with the consolidated operating result $28.5 million, or 3.6 per cent of Council's total $783 million annual budget.
Council chief executive Mr David Farmer said the end of year result was within the range expect of an organisation of its size.
"We manage assets valued at over $9.4 billion on behalf of the Central Coast community, so the lion's share of our budget is taken up on maintaining, operating and renewing these assets."
