Positive behaviour brings joy, says principal

Umina Beach Public School principal Ms Karen Wardlaw has told parents that students at the school have shown "positive behaviour" during term three.

"They have been a joy to teach and take care of during the term."

She said it was "another great term, supporting our students to grow, learn, flourish, and thrive".

"We have loved seeing Positive Behaviour for Learning in action across all classes, which has contributed to a safe, happy and positive school.

"Our special reward day was a great way to end the term, recognising the positive behaviour choices all our students have been making.

"We provided all our students the opportunity to choose their own reward and everyone also enjoyed an ice treat.

"The last two days have been such fun, offering our students and teachers the chance to relax, have fun together and enjoy the rewards that follow sustained effort and positive behaviour choices.

"Now we wish our families the same chance over the holidays: relax and have fun, enjoy the company of your children."
