Crafts centre starts crochet class

The Ettalong Beach Arts and Crafts Centre is starting a crochet class on Friday afternoons in Term 2.

Tutor is Ms Wendy Burgess and class numbers will be limited.

The nine-week course will teach the skills required to become a confident crocheter, including basic crochet stitches and techniques, the best hooks and yarn for a project, and how to read crochet patterns, according to centre president Mr Peter Mulholland.

"You will create a different crocheted item every week, including a drawstring bag, water bottle holder, candle jar, key ring, and a set of coasters."

Cost is $195 for members, which includes all materials and patterns required for the course.

For more information and bookings, phone Ms Burgess on 0402 039 677.
