Jed provides support at clinic
Jed is an assistance dog who accompanies his owner while she undergoes in-patient treatment at the Central Coast Clinic at Brisbane Waters Private Hospital.
Assistance dogs and trained companion animals are welcome at the clinic, said hospital chief executive Ms Debbra Ritter.
Jed has been training for the last eight months to assist his owner as she navigates life following the loss of her husband, she said.
"He is always on hand and attuned to triggers for her anxiety and grief, and provides emotional support while she receives treatment at the clinic."
