Masks no longer required in aged care facility
A Umina aged care provider has advised relatives and friends of its residents that staff and visitors are no longer required to wear a mask in the facility.
"There are no restrictions on the number of visitors a resident can have each day or at any one time," said chief executive Mr Shane Neaves about visits to Peninsula Villages facilities.
"Visiting hours will remain the same to enable screening of visitor temperatures and sign in."
They are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, and 8am to 2pm Saturday and Sunday.
"Residents can leave the facility for outings such as medical appointments or to visit locations in the community such as shops and cafes."
Anyone with Covid symptoms, are a close contact, are self-isolating or waiting a test result may not visit the village.
Anyone who has been to a NSW hotspot or to Greater Brisbane since March 11 would also be excluded.
