Woy Woy Bingo resumes at Ettalong
Woy Woy Bingo has resumed at 7:30pm on Wednesday nights at Ettalong Diggers.
Woy Woy Bingo operated from Ettalong Diggers Club last year after restrictions applying to the Peninsula Community Centre caused it to be suspended.
"Ettalong Diggers has asked us back on Wednesday nights due to last year being so popular," said organiser Mr Rob Graham.
"We have come up with a nice format to play at the club.
"This is a book of 20, then a break, then a jackpot book of five games.
"Tickets will only be paper and only sold in sets of six.
"A book of 20 is $15 and jackpot book is $10.
"This makes it $25 for a set of six all night."
Mr Graham said: "It will be slow enough for you to buy extra books if you would like to, especially in the jackpot.
"To kick it off, we are offering minimum prizes of $30 in main games, then $80 in jackpot book along with a $250 jackpot.
"Of course, if we sell more tickets, the prizes will go up on the night."
Proceeds of the bingo go to Woy Woy Catholic Parish and support its community programs, including Mary Mac's Place, which provides lunches, showers and laundry facilities to people who are "homeless, transient or needing a helping hand".
