Wheelchair converted to multi-purpose cart

A local aged care provider has converted an unused wheelchair into a multi-purpose cart.

The cart has been used at Blue Wave Living in Woy Woy as a drinks trolley and as an ice-cream cart.

"What started as an unused wheelchair soon became a multi-operational cart that provides wonderful experiences for our residents," said chief executive Mr Matt Downie.

He said the conversion was undertaken by the centre's maintenance team.
