Book Week parade at Pretty Beach

Pretty Beach Public School's 2018 Book Week celebrations will be held on August 24.

"It's time to get excited about the annual Book Week Parade," according to principal Ms Deborah Callendar.

"The theme this year is 'Find Your Treasure' and we can't wait to see what students will dress up as," she said.

Students can choose to dress up as a book character or in a costume to match the theme.

"Costumes need not be expensive as many book character costumes can be created using everyday clothing," Ms Callendar said.

There will be awards for the most creative, craftiest and most colourful costumes announced at the parade.
