Librarian to talk about entertainment photography

Council local studies librarian Mr Geoffrey Potter will present a talk at Woy Woy Library this week about the entertainment photography of Gosford photographer Mr Les Allen.

The talk, called "Rock 'til you drop - 1960s entertainment", will be held as part of History Week.

Mr Potter will take a nostalgic trip through the 1960s and 1970s club entertainment scene as viewed through the lens of Mr Allen.

The presentation will include the highlights of the rock and pop, cabaret and side act performer photographs taken at the Central Coast Leagues Club.

The will take place on Thursday, September 7 from 10:30am to 11:30am and bookings are essential.
