Holstein claims support of former mayors

Gosford West independent candidate, former Gosford mayor, Mr Chris Holstein is claiming the support of three other former mayors in his bid for election to Central Coast Council.

He said former Gosford mayors Mr Laurie Maher and Mr Laurie McKinna has supported his candidacy, as had former Wyong major Mr Bob Graham.

Mr Holstein said he was standing on a platform of experience, commitment and common sense.

"The belief is this will be needed a new Council of up to 10 to 12 first-time councillors," Mr Holstein said.

"The former mayors have echoed those calls," he said.
