Inaugural art show held at Ettalong
Ettalong Public School kicked off its Education Week celebrations on Monday, July 29, with the grand opening of its inaugural Ettalong Public School Art Show.
Principal Mr Colin Wallis said the show was a celebration of the artistic talent and creativity of every student at the school.
"Our school hall was transformed into a prestigious gallery of outstanding artworks created by our talented students under the watchful and encouraging eye of their teachers," said Mr Wallis.
"The gallery looked absolutely amazing, exhibiting our children's work in the best possible way.
"I am sure that all who visited were absolutely enthralled and amazed at the quality of the artwork on show.
"The creative arts team lead by Katie Walker and Merran Hansford took the initiative and hard work in getting this project to become a stunning reality," said Mr Wallis.
The school's celebrations continued with the Book Fair and the Open Day held on Thursday, August 1.
