It's a joy to be an aged pedestrian
Rod Munson touches a nerve when he complains about speeding pushbikes.
It is very unnerving to see a speeding bike race past you, when one false step could put you in hospital, as happened to Bill Lang's 90-year-old mother.
One zoom star raced past me at about 60km per hour.
I let out a mouthful and she turned to grin, in the far distance of the end of the West St footpath.
Well, at least we don't have maniacal joggers on the Peninsula.
In Sydney, joggers just push or elbow you aside.
Oh, it's a joy to be an aged pedestrian I can tell you.
