From far away

I came from far away to live in Oz

And settled on the scenic Central Coast,

When people ask me why, I say because

For beauty and for climate, it's foremost.

I saw its swaying palm trees on TV,

The glistening ocean circling mangrove trees,

Beaches washed by undulating sea

And temperatures in comfortable degrees.

At first I lived at sleepy Ettalong,

Where sighing ripples brush the sheltered bay,

Now the water sings a different song

At Woy Woy, where I have my home today.

The gleaming ocean permeates our space

And makes the Central Coast the perfect place.
