To appear in court
A 27-year-old male from Umina will appear in court after he was arrested for numerous offences on Thursday, April 18.
Police were patrolling Gosford train station when they observed the man walking up the entry stairs from Burns Cres.
The man was issued with an on-the-spot infringement notice for swearing at police.
A few minutes later, police saw the man on the platform smoking a cigarette.
He was warned regarding the offence and told to dispose of the cigarette.
However, according to police, he refused to do so and again began swearing and abusing police.
There were numerous commuters in earshot and he was arrested for his continued offensive language.
