Arts Warehouse to visit college
Gosford's Youth Arts Warehouse will visit Brisbane Water Secondary College on its tour of the Central Coast this year.
Local bands Northie, When the World and other young local artists will spread the word about Youth Arts Warehouse programs, courses, events and services.
The Youth Arts Warehouse crew and bands will visit schools and deliver a free 30-minute live music performance and a presentation on the emerging artists' original music competition Sounds Different.
Sounds Different competition prizes include the winning band's performance on the YAW sound stage with a live recording of the performance, recording at the YAW recording studio and a support slot for the Metrodome music event.
The Youth Arts Warehouse is located in the Gosford City Centre and provides a multi-function venue with flexible performance space and auditorium, recording studio, art studio and exhibition space.
A division of Regional Youth Support Services Inc, the Youth Arts Warehouse opened to the public in January 2007.
The organisation is an independent non-for-profit youth service for 12 to 25 year olds on the Central Coast on NSW.
