Hydro pool to stay

Woy Woy Hospital has no plans to close its hydrotherapy pool, according to a Central Coast Health Service spokesperson.

The confirmation from Central Coast Health Service comes after Peninsula News received an anonymous call from a concerned resident who currently uses the facility.

However, Central Coast Health Services denied the claim.

"There are no plans to close Woy Woy Hospital's hydrotherapy pool," a spokesperson for Central Coast Health Service said.

"There are also currently no voluntary redundancies being offered to staff at Woy Woy Hospital.

"However, where the Health Service decides to review a service, the staff affected and their industrial associations are always consulted."
