No news on fluoride
Our local papers do not appear to be keeping us up to date with fluoridation matters.
The European Court has ruled that fluoridated water must be treated as a medicine and so it cannot be used in the manufacture of consumable goods.
That means that it cannot be used in foods or liquids.
This surely is likely to have quite an impact on the export of food and wine from Australia to anywhere in Europe.
Nor have we been informed that the Deniliquin Council in NSW supplied and fitted free of charge, Reverse Osmosis Filters, to residents who could supply a medical certificate showing that they were adversely affected by fluoride.
This could add up to a large sum if a similar program were to be enacted in Gosford.
Are we purposely being kept in the dark?
Are journalists not doing any digging?
Or is it just an oversight?
