From banking to boutique

After 30 years in the banking industry and years of commuting, Ms Maurine Dowdle of Umina decided to make a complete lifestyle change and has taken over Millies Gone Blonde Boutique.

Ms Dowdle said she has always had a sense and love of fashion.

Being a senior manager in banking and having daughters has meant that she enjoyed the different aspects of fashion styles.

When the opportunity arose and Millies Gone Blonde became available, Ms Dowdle took the opportunity to fulfil her dream.

With a new name change Gone Blonde Boutique and a revamp of the clothing line, Ms Dowdle is planning to introduce new lines such as Cooper St, Laadakh, George, Vicky Mar and Paco Gowns.

Ms Dowdle's aim is to have Gone Blonde known as the complete women's boutique on the Peninsula which will provide quality garments, hats, bags and shoes for all occasions at reasonable prices.

Gone Blonde Boutique is located in The Boulevarde, Woy Woy, and open Monday through to Saturday.
