Grant for rugby league equipment

Woy Woy Rugby League Club has received a $2000 State Government grant that will be used to buy new training equipment.

Four other Central Coast sports clubs have also received funding of up to $2500.

Member for Gosford Ms Marie Andrews joined Minister for Sport and Recreation Mr Kevin Greene in announcing the grant.

"This funding will help local athletes get the most out of their fitness training and to develop their on-field skills," Mr Greene said.

"Grassroots sport plays a strong role in encouraging healthy, active lifestyles and developing our future sporting champions."
