Clean-up at St Hubert's
The St Hubert's Island Residents Association took part in a community clean-up as part of Clean Up Australia Day on March 1.
President Mr Ron Spratt said "a happy band of volunteers" turned out for the annual clean-up day program.
"I was delighted to see the turn-out of volunteers for the day and am most appreciative of their efforts," Mr Spratt said.
"I am particularly pleased that there was participation by the younger generation of island residents which included Max and Angus Morrison, Kiera Johnson and Tegan Hooker.
"The activities of the day included the clearing of material washed up onto the foreshores of the island, the clearing of weeds and vegetation on the approaches to St Hubert's Island and clearing of materials deposited in the non-residential foreshores of the northern end of the island."
