Dune sand in club foyer?

I was getting all warm and fuzzy and shedding a few tears with my pet crocodile over the nostalgia of Ettalong Beach.

Then I thought: I remember Ettalong in the 40s and 50s. It was a sand spit, there was a stone wall, coral trees and no giant erzast opera house-casino was sitting on the foreshore.

After the cyclone of 1974, sand was shifted around and the dunes vegetated and closed off.

Now the vegetation has to be removed.

One wonders, if and when we have a repeat of that fierce cyclonic night, that half the sand of Ettalong Beach will end up in the foyer of the club, the other half at Lobster Beach.
